Handbook Onboarding materials: For the Client to administer internally. These materials are designed to supplement the Employee Handbook by drawing attention to its most important components as they relate to the Client’s operations, workplace expectations, and culture. The purpose is to actively convey what matters most rather than relying on employees to read and independently interpret the Handbook — since most employees do not read handbooks, and failure to reinforce key policies limits their effectiveness as a living, breathing part of the business.
Illinois-specific postings: Required workplace postings for Illinois business locations based on applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Live HR law training: Designed for business owners, managers, and supervisors (not staff or line employees), focused on teaching what employment law requires in day-to-day personnel interactions, including obligations that extend beyond what is addressed in the Employee Handbook, so managers avoid inadvertently creating legal risk through common missteps.
Harassment prevention training materials: Self-administered training content compliant with Illinois and local requirements. The Client is responsible for ensuring that new employees receive harassment prevention training within the calendar year of their hire if located in Illinois, and within 90 days of hire if located in the City of Chicago. The Client is responsible for implementing this training annually to meet refresher requirements.

Kickoff legal audit: A structured review of the Client’s existing employment policies, procedures, and practices to identify areas of risk and non-compliance. The Firm will summarize findings and provide a written report with prioritized recommendations for corrective action.
Ongoing handbook, contract, and policy updates: Revisions to employment documents will be provided as laws change or business needs evolve. The Firm will proactively notify the Client of changes that impact their compliance and issue updated language where applicable. The Client will receive a brief log or summary of document updates provided throughout the subscription period.
Live ongoing management training access: Access to periodic webinars or live virtual sessions hosted by the Firm on employment law topics relevant to Illinois employers. These trainings are open to owners, managers, and HR staff and are designed to reinforce compliance and practical best practices. Additionally, live HR law training will be available quarterly to the Client’s managers and supervisors to ensure that new leaders are onboarded, and all management personnel remain current on their obligations.
Concierge-led check-ins: Scheduled quarterly calls with a Firm team member to review legal priorities, monitor the implementation status of compliance recommendations, and identify any emerging employment issues before they escalate. These check-ins help maintain momentum and ensure continuous alignment with best practices.
Up to five (5) hours of direct attorney access: Useable for one-on-one legal advice, contract or disciplinary review, or other covered topics. Time is tracked and reported monthly.
Preferred rates on firm services beyond the plan, for when bigger legal needs come up.

Dedicated HR legal partner: A designated attorney from the Firm who serves as your point of contact for legal matters, ensuring continuity, familiarity with your business, and a proactive approach to compliance and workforce management.
Monthly legal strategy sessions: Regular virtual meetings to discuss compliance planning, policy improvement, workforce structure, and emerging legal risks tailored to the Client’s unique goals and business operations.
Risk audits and compliance alignment: Targeted legal reviews of key employment functions (e.g., hiring practices, wage/hour compliance, leave administration) designed to identify gaps and provide recommendations to strengthen compliance.
Up to twenty-five (25) hours of direct attorney access: Bank of legal time available for consultations, document reviews, policy drafting, employee relations counseling, and other covered services. Time is tracked and reported monthly.
